Chairman Zero Lectures His Base

Apparently, Dear Reader threw a bit of a hissy-fit at the end of an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.

“It is inexcusable for any Democrat or progressive right now to stand on the sidelines in this midterm election”

Hussein stopped short of calling apathetic Democrats “Trotskyite parasites” and “counter-revolutionary gusanos,” but clearly the tone was there.

Dear Reader also threw another anti-FoxNews hissy fit

(FoxNews has) a point of view that I disagree with. It’s a point of view that I think is ultimately destructive for the long-term growth of a country

Destructive as opposed to what? An endless, expanding, bureaucratic welfare state financed by massive borrowing?

Whatsamatter Bammy? They talkin’ ’bout you like you was a dawg again? Has any president ever bitched so much that the press… let alone one network… was picking on him?

Stupid voters! Do as you are told!

Referencing your earlier comment about Obama’s base coming home, Rasmussen’s daily poll has shown a steady gain for the president over the last few weeks, culminating today in his first overall positive approval rating in 6 months.

That, at this late date, 50% of the American people view Obama’s performamce positively is epically disheartening to me.

How is this country so far gone that half the people cheer its destruction?

  2. The stock market has been ticking up. Mainly on the Treasury buying stocks. Housing starts have also ticked up after bottoming out. Some people see these as causes for optimism.
