Michael Bloomberg is an Arrogant Liberal Prick

Nurse Nancy Bloomberg (Mayor of NYC) thinks incoming Republican Senators are illiterate hillbillies:

“If you look at the U.S., you look at who we’re electing to Congress, to the Senate—they can’t read,” he said. “I’ll bet you a bunch of these people don’t have passports. We’re about to start a trade war with China if we’re not careful here, only because nobody knows where China is. Nobody knows what China is.”

“These people” who “can’t read” include Robert Portman, Marco Rubio, Pat Toomey, Ron Johnson, Mike Lee, John Hoeven, Allen West, John Boozman, and Dan Coats — All Men of considerable accomplishment before being elected to the House or Senate. And I am pretty sure former trade ambassador Rob Portman has a well-used passport.

This is typical of the arrogance of the left. Confirmed dingbats like Patty Murray and Barbare Boxer are presumed to be wise because of their lockstep adherence to liberalism. But the mere fact of one’s conservatism is presumed to be a sign of intellectual deficiency.

This is also typical of the arrogant leftist idiocy of Mike Bloomberg, a guy who was sure the perpetrator of the attempted Times Square bombing would turn out to be a Tea Partier Angry about ObamaCare.

Maybe naughty babes will be better link bait than south park images.

I am reminded of the YouTube of the hipsters at the John Stewart Anti-Beck Rally insisting vehemently that Obama was not a Keynesian because he was born in Hawaii.

Florida Proves to be Less Stupid Than California

I know California liberals have enormous superiority complex, especially over states like Texas and Florida. But Florida… faced with two pretty bad candidates for governor… selected the one with business experience, even though polls had him losing. Yeah, Rick Scott is flawed, but he has a sense of fiscal responsibility and knowledge of what it takes to foster job creation.

What did Californians do? They elected for their governor a Senile Hippie Retread from the Carter Era who campaigned as a tool of the public employee unions that have driven the state to bankruptcy.

California has lost any right to be smug it ever may have had.

Foreigners Suck

You brought them over here, not me. You supposedly need them to drive the cabs I don’t take, and be the nannies I don’t need and the housekeepers I can’t afford, and run the restaurants only you get to eat in and run the shops you’re too lazy or prissy to own yourselves.

Maybe Meg Whitman wouldn’t be losing to a senile hippie if she weren’t as bad about pandering to Hispanics as any given Democrat.

Crazee Bichas of teh Left

It is an article of faith on the left that Christine O’Donnell is “batshit crazy.” Mainly because she supports ideas the left thinks are crazy; like smaller government, reduced spending, secure borders, and personal responsibility.

Let’s consider that the ranks of the left, the people who have appointed themselves the arbiters of who’s crazy, include the following notables:

Lauren Valle: A professional activist who goes around vandalizing other people’s property and disrupting political debates with her obnoxiousness.

Debbie Frisch: A lefty feminist (a.k.a. lesbian) with a long history of derangement most recently filed deranged self-written court documents that described the judges that had convicted her of stalking and threatening as “frocked cowfuckers.”

Amy Bishop: This Obama-supporting leftist professor shot six colleagues after being denied tenure and probably murdered her own brother and got away with it thanks to connections with the Massachusetts Democrat party.

Christine O’Donnell has never vandalized anything, threatened anybody’s kids, or shot anybody. But she’s the crazy one? Yeah, right.

And there’s more.

Rosie O’Donnell: 9-11 conspiracy whackjob who thinks fire cannot melt steel, even though that’s how steel is made.

Roseanne Barr: Um, yeah.

Again, both regarded as less crazy than Christine O’Donnell by the Huffington Post/Daily Show crowd.

And then there’s deranged radio host Randi Rhodes, whose listeners are outnumbered by the voices in her head. She falls down drunk and blames it on the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy. Speaking of conspiracies, she accuses Blackwater of setting forest fires and  rants about Hillary being a “f–king whore.” But still, not generally regarded on the left as crazy or stupid like Christine O’Donnell.

The Chinese Professor

Chilling… yes. But I am old enough to have lived through previous Yellow Peril economic scares. Back in the eighties, it was the Japanese who were going to own us. (Remember Back to the Future II?).

China has serious problems. The One-Child policy has left them with an aging workforce and will result in a huge social services burden unless they simply start killing off the elderly, which I would not put past them. Also, they have a huge real estate and equities bubble on their hands as well. And, we could always refudiate our debt to them; screwing us both but mostly them. (Hey, we screwed over Chrysler and GM shareholders, so why not the Butchers of Beijing?)

But even if I dispute the thesis, I do agree with the sentiment. By all means, let’s make Government cheaper, smaller, and better; like a Japanese car.

Also… I not… almost all of the critical comments contain the word “racist.” That really is the sine qua non of progressive critical thinking, isn’t it?

Last Gasp of a Dying Leftist Propaganda Rag

Newsweek says that Democrats are “fired up” and surging. But, considering Newsweek was recently sold for the price of a Dollar Menu Item at McDonald’s (and I don’t mean an issue of the magazine, I mean their entire publishing operation), I don’t think their opinion is especially reliable.

Also, the guy who bought Newsweek is ninety-something years old and probably thought he was buying a coffee or something.

 

Good Frackin’ Point

An interesting contrast: while many NPR listeners apparently could not stomach that Williams also appeared on Fox News, it doesn’t seem that any perceptible number of Fox News viewers had any complaints that Williams also worked for NPR. The Fox audience seems to be more tolerant of diversity than the NPR audience.

An American Jewish Committee survey has found that a majority of American Jews support the Arizona immigration law, 52 to 46.

The reaction of the pro-amnesty Jewish leadership was befuddlement, at best.

“When I first heard about this, my first thought was, ‘Why this question?’” said Ann Schaffer, director of the organization’s Belfer Center for American Pluralism, who wasn’t alone among her colleagues in wondering why the question was asked.

Elite leftists of the Jewish persuasion have no more interest in hearing, much less following, the opinions of those they claim to represent than does the average Democrat member of congress.

Nancy Pelosi Is In-Bleeding-Sane

Here she is telling Charlie Rose there’s no way the Republicans will do better than the 30 seats the Democrats picked up in 2006, and she will still be speaker in the next Congress.

Most sane people think Nancy Pelosi has a better chance of being on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue than being speaker next year.

A Partial Listing of Dirty Democrat Tricks and Rotten Behavior So Far

Because the Democrats have no accomplishments and nothing to be proud of after four years of running the Congress, they have no choice but to attack their opponents with every dirty trick in the book.  I’ve compiled a no-doubt incomplete listing.

• Democrat Alan “Dick” Grayson runs an attack ad on his opponent, Republican Daniel Webster, calling him “Taliban Dan.” The ad justifies this by using a Webster quote about women “submitting” to their wives that is so deceptive and out of context that even MSDNC wouldn’t buy it.
• Democrat Russ Feingold runs an ad so dishonest even the Democrat media asks to have it pulled,  had to pull another ad after illegally using copyrighted imagery, and had a third ad that was so outrageously dishonest even reliably left Politifact rated as “pants on fire.”
• The ethics trials of Democrats Charlie Rangel and Maxine Waters are delayed until after the election.
• Rand Paul’s Democrat opponent Jack Conway releases a despicable ad attacking Rand Paul’s religious faith and asserting unproven allegations as fact. Jack Conway is using the lefty-troll Aqua Buddha smear; that’s like a Republican running on a platform of “Obama is a Kenyan witch doctor.”
• Sharron Angle smeared and lied about by alleged Mormon Harry Reid in $20 million worth of attack ads paid for by groups *outside* Nevada, and which included a commercial in which he claimed Sharron Angle wanted women to die of breast cancer.
• Christine O’Donnell smeared as a witch and a nutjob for comments she made on a talk show in her twenties. (Aren’t the rest of us lucky not to have everything we said in our twenties held against us for the rest of our lives.)
• The media deliberately misreport what was said in a debate, to make Christine O’Donnell appear ignorant of the Constitution. The more accurate version shows Christine O’Donnell knows the Constitution better than the Bald Marxist.
• Accusations against Ohio Republican Tom Ganley  of sexual harassment are hyped by the Ohio Democrat media.
• But the same Ohio Democrat media buries testimony that Democrat Charlie Wilson liked to slap his wife around.
• Operatives for Democrat Debbie Halvorson of Illinois attended an Americans for Prosperity Rally carrying signs where various conservative figures were depicted as Nazis.
• Democrat Jack Conway (KY) supporter pretended to be a Tea Partier, and spouted racist epithets.
• Democrats recruit phony “Tea Party” candidates to siphon off the vote in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Florida and Nevada.
• The Chairman of the Ohio Democrat party refers to Tea Party patriots as “these f-ckers!”
• Michele Bachmann’s Demonrat opponent also resorts to potty language to make whatever her point is supposed to be.
• Democrats falsely attack Republican candidate Ken Buck as pro-rape.
• Georgia Democrat Roy Barnes attacked his Republican opponent as pro-rape, because his opponent supported the Constitutional Right of the accused to confront his accuser.
• Democrat gubernatorial nominee John Hickenlooper ran Denver as a sanctuary city — barring police and municipal employees from inquiring into the immigration status of those arrested or seeking city services when he was mayor. Up for election to governor, he denies it. The local media dutifully advance his spin.  (Why do Democrats always deny favoring the policies they enact?)

• Simultaneously playing the race card as both a victim and a racist, Loretta “Lursa” Sanchez warned “her” voters (in Spanish) of the yellow peril represented by her slant-eyed Republican opponent, Van Tran.

• NBC Scrunt Lisa Myers (may stinkbugs nest in her muff cabbage) does a guilt-by-association hit piece on Republican Allen West.
• Desperate Donks promptly flog the “Allen West is an outlaw biker who thinks women are property” meme.  Media collaboration much?
• Democrat incumbent Pat Murphy uses potty-mouth language to attack his opponent.
• Banking Queen Barney Frank sends his pothead boyfriend to heckle his opponent, Sean Bielat.
• Barney also lies about his support for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and denies building the mortgage bomb that destroyed the economy.
• New York’s answer to Alan Grayson, deranged nutbag Maurice Hinchey, responds to a question about his interest in a local real estate development by telling a reporter to “shut up.”
• The DCCC is running ads about Kristi Noem’s speeding tickets, Keith Fimian’s home-inspection business, Jaime Herrera’s business-card expenses. Tennessee Democrat Lincoln Davis accuses his opponent of “a history of violent and threatening behavior.”
• Illinois Democrat senate candidate, mob banker Alex Giannoulis, brings out the tired, hackneyed “voter intimidation” smear desperate Democrats often resort to.
• Shrill Left-wing lawyer and unidentified life form Gloria Allred outs an illegal immigrant in order to smear Republican Meg Whitman.
• Whitman’s Democrat opponent, senile hippie union-puppet Democrat Moonbeam Brown promises free tuition to illegal immigrants to get their votes.  It’s no wonder California Democrats are depending on a pot legalization proposition to get elected.
• Also, the senile hippie called her a whore, or at least someone in his campaign did without consequence.
• Democrats in New Mexico use racially-charged innuendo against Republican Gubernatorial candidate Susana Martinez.
• Pat Quinn, the Democrat candidate for Illinois governor, accused his Republican opponent of wanting women to die of breast cancer.
• Fat hideous Arizona Democrat Raul Grijalva had his wife go out and use the race card for him.
• Democrat Ed Perlmutter in Colorado literally slapped his Republican opponent during a debate.
• Maryland Democrat Steny Hoyer knuckle-punched Republican opponent Charles Lollar in the back during a debate.
• Wisconsin Democrat Steve Kagan accused his Republican opponent of wanting to phase out Social Security in an ad rated “Liar, Liar, pants on fire” by reliably left-leaning Politifact.
• The Obama Regime has ensured that military voters will be disenfranchised in New York, Illinois and several other states.
• Human Events lists the top ten lies of Obama’s campaign stump speeches, including the reliable “the Republicans will cancel social security and grind the elderly into dog kibble.”
• Some Democrats are even pretending not to be Democrats in hopes of fooling the voters, like Bobby Bright in Alabama and Jim Marshall in Georgia, although they have every intention of voting for the Pelosi-Obama-Reid agenda upon their return to Washington (or the Hoyer-Obama-Schumer agenda, same thing).
• The Obamacrats tried to start a rumor that John Boner was having an affair. (The idea of a politician’s sex life being “compartmentalized” from his public life apparently ended when Clinton left office.)
• The Obamacrats tried to start a rumor that Republican Dave Reichert (a congressman from Washington) was brain-damaged.
• A Republican congressional candidate in Ohio was smeared by Democrats as a Nazi, because he dressed up in a Wehrmacht uniform at a World War II re-enactment. By that same token, I’m an axe murderer because that’s how I dressed last Hallowe’en. Also, Barney Frank is an aging blond dance hall girl named “Gina Cologist.”
• Rachel Maddow claimed a Republican congressman had advance warning of the Oklahoma City Bombing.
• New York Democrat Maurice Hinchey denies the existence of a Federal deficit, but at least he didn’t deny that evolution was incontrovertible fact.
• Democrats in Pennsylvania send threatening letters to voters from a fictitious government agency.
• The Democrats passed a bill to bribe seniors with $250 in borrowed money to vote for them.
• At the other end of the age spectrum, Democrats in Ohio took high school students out to vote for Democrats, then bought them ice cream.
• The Obamacrats are now unleashing the NAACP to tar the Tea Parties as racists… because the MFM promoting the “Tea Partiers Are Racists” meme for the last year and a half has somehow failed to get the message across.

Democrats can’t run on issues, so all they can do is lie and smear. Should any people so desperate to cling on to power have it returned to them? I say no.
